Burlington is now a suburban industrial town at the junction of the Boston-Merrimack corridor, but for most of its history it was almost entirely agricultural, selling hops and rye to Boston and supplementing that income with small shoe-making shops.

What Our Customers Say
We met Gary Rawding, owner of Symphony Home Improvement, at a home show (the first one we ever attended). We set up an appointment to meet with him, that day, and are now the happy owners of new white CompositWood windows. From the beginning, our experience was a good one. Gary spent approximately four hours explaining the different types of windows, and the technology used in the windows composition. In the end, we chose CompositWood windows because we felt that they were the best option. The installation crew came on the day scheduled and were on time. They each introduced themselves and were extremely courteous throughout the day and a half that was spent putting in 20 windows ( including one very large one). They did a very thorough job and did not leave any hint of a mess. They were very professional. When the job was done, Gary came to inspect the windows to make sure that all was well. It was. We are now considering replacing our front door, and whom are we going to call-Gary Rawding of Symphony Home Improvement! On a scale of 1-10, I would give all involved a 15!Suzanne B. Southbridge, MA
Symphony replaced all the windows in our home this spring. From the moment Gary came to our home until the final walk through, Symphony was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. Gary sat with my husband and I for hours to make sure we knew exactly what we were getting and to personalize the plan for our windows. Our windows were in awful condition–old rusted and warped. Gary explained why that had happened and what the best products would be so that jt wouldn’t happen in the future. Once our order was placed our measurements were promptly taken and order was placed. Symphony communicated with us each step of the way so we knew the status of our repair. The day of installation our installers arrived on time as scheduled. They were extremely polite and took extra care to be neat and tidy–my house was cleaner when they finished! They took care to be careful of our flower garden as well which was important to me. The quality of the new Windows is fantastic–they look and feel amazing. They are solid and sturdy–no breezes when these babies are closed. The screens are tight in each window with no gaps for bugs to get through. They open and close easily and have child proof locks on each. The installers made sure I knew how to work the windows and Gary double checked on our final walk through. Our house looks and feels 20 years younger and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you Gary and the Symphony crew 🙂Michelle L. Webster, MA
After the brutal winter and some serious ice damns, we had several leaky windows that needed replacing. Symphony home improvement gave us a no hassle home visit and incredible price. Gary, the owner, took the time to talk about the technology involved in all of the different windows, but was never pushy about a specific brand or time limited deal. Even after the manufacturer had problems with filling the order correctly, Gary jumped all over it and really helped us get what we wanted. On the day of install, the crew (who couldn’t have been nicer) showed up early and had the old windows out and new ones in an hour ahead of schedule. Additionally, since the install we have had some questions and Gary has always been incredibly attentive to whatever we need to know. All in all, a great experience that will most likely lead to more windows from Symphony in the future.Tim C. Sharon, MA
Gary Rawding came to our house and explained more about windows and installation than I ever knew in my 60 years. And he was spot one!. He helped me select basement windows that vent my dryer, provide security, provide cross ventilation when I need it….all installed by a very professional and skilled staffer. Not the cheapest, but not overpriced like NewPro…..a great window installed perfectly at a fair price.Charles S. Reading, MA
Great! I needed 8 windows replaced, and the job was done in a few hours. Love the new windows. Gary was very helpful and went above and beyond to insure that i was pleased with my purchase.Jacqueline K. Bradford, MA
